Building Blocks

Building Blocks

  1. Vision

Become quiet before the Lord & see a picture of building blocks. What does the blocks look like? Is it child’s blocks? Or is it beautiful cut stones? Are the blocks different colors? Is it neutral colors? Are the blocks neatly stacked up? Are there some of the blocks lying around?

Write down what the Holy Spirit is showing you

On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation.

1 Kings 6:7 (NIV)

In building the temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry were used, and no hammer, chisel or any other iron tool was heard at the temple site while it was being built.

  1. What is the color of the next building block the Lord wants to give to you? Maybe it is a new building block, maybe it is one that is lying on the floor. Let Him give you your next step.

Let Him show you & write it down

  1. Start to write down the dreams, the visions, the Scripture, the prophesies God gave you in an orderly manner – pick up all the papers, all the building blocks that is lying all over the place. Take your seat in the presence of the King and be His administrator – there is an invitation waiting with your name on.

Matthew 5:17-20 (NIV)

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

  • Pick up all the building blocks.
  • The smallest letter of what God spoke to you.
  • The least stroke of a pen of what God spoke to you.
  • The least of these commands the Lord gave you.
  1. He wants you to start seeing the bigger picture.

Ezekiel 43 (NIV)

10 “Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider its perfection, 11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement, its exits and entrances—its whole design and all its regulations and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.

  • Consider the perfection of the temple.
  • The design of the temple.
  • It’s arrangement, exits, entrances.
  • It’s whole design & regulations & laws.
  • Write these down.
  • Be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.

1 Cor 3:16 (NIV)
